In working with a group, we deal with a group mind, and group dynamics. This means that group and team coaching will by necessity involve issues around power and control, leadership, group identity and performance.
The coach operates to facilitate the team development, to be a catalyst to learning, development, and growth, and to enable the team members to lead and follow in ways that support the team operating at full capacity. The focus is on facilitating a process whereby the group becomes a team with an identity, a sense of direction and focus, objectives, a way of organising and operating etc
This programme will support the selected leadership team in their growth objectives. This will be in the form of one on one coaching conversations followed by a breakaway session to initiate, design and track the newly agreed and shared business objectives as set by you and the team. The outcome of this process will manifest in a more synergized and cohesive leadership team.
With your specific objectives and its emerging three to four year window, it is clear that business and the way we do business will be challenged by the dynamics and subsequent changes in the South African, AFRICAN and World Economy.
The objective of the outcome of the coaching programme is to create a set of clear business objectives and values and align that with sustainable team action for months and years to come.
The content will be created by you and the specific expertise of your key support team. It will be you and your key team that will become the internal facilitators to keep all future action in alignment and influence and lead the rest of the company to do the same .
The team coach will structure and focus on the process to ensure we achieve the agreed desired outcome for this exercise.
The selected members who commit to the process will realise that they are entirely in control of the outcome. They do the work and remain in charge of the content of the growth process whilst the coaching programme provides a structure for the process.
