After 20 years in leadership positions in two media conglomerates, South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) and Electronic Media Network (M-Net), including extensive international practical business experience, Leon since 2002, works as a strategy facilitator, executive team coach, and organizational systems consultant.

 

Previously, he made a substantial contribution to South Africa's film industry as Executive Producer of Shaka Zulu - an international prime time-series and many other local and international co-productions that created the transformational leverage needed in broadcasting, during the pre and post apartheid period.

 

Leon now contributes his skills to the change processess required to create sustainable solutions in organizations and works in Southern Africa as an organizational facilitator and change risk facilitator.

 

His systemic solution focused approach to consultation sustains this change and impacts on an organizational and individual level.  Leaders and teams who particpate in this work, connect to deeper alignment with the purpose and values of the organization, are more motivated and develop a sense of work fullfillment.

 

The ultimate benefit is leaders and managers who lead by example and are more skilled at working with peers, teams, and better attuned to innovate and adapt throughout their careers. His facilitation programmes sustains the implementation of deliverables generated by solution focused planning over longer periods of time.

 

His core competence is diagnosing the complexity of organizational systems and the impact that has on the results of a business.

 

This platform is used to design innovative and transitional processess to support the sustainable achievement of the clients' objectives.

He has a Baccalaureus Artium (Honores) Anthropology degree from University of Pretoria, Baccalaureus Theologium from the University of Stellenbosch, a Licentiate In Theology from University of Stellenbosch and a Managerial Advancement Prog (?short-MBA') qualification from Wits Business School.
